Fleet Service Agent – Auckland

Part-Time | Wings Car Rental New Zealand

About the Role

As a Fleet and Maintenance Staff member, you’ll help keep our rental vehicles in top condition and ensure our fleet is clean, safe, and ready for customers. You’ll be part of an energetic team that values teamwork, attention to detail, and quality service. This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week working Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, clean, and prepare vehicles for the next rental.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks (fuel, oil, tyres, wipers, etc.), body condition and cleanliness.
  • Move vehicles between branches or customer locations as required.
  • Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues promptly.
  • Support the operations team with vehicle logistics and branch organisation.
  • Assisting with obtaining vehicle registrations and vehicle fitness certifications
  • Assisting with the collection and delivery of vehicles to and from airport, off-site suppliers locally as well as other cities in New Zealand

What We’re Looking For

  • New Zealand citizen or permanent resident (work eligibility required).
  • A valid New Zealand Class-1 full and clean driver’s licence
  • Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Friendly and professional attitude when dealing with colleagues and customers.
  • Availability for rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Customer Support Agent– Auckland Airport Branch

Part-Time | Wings Car Rental New Zealand

Join the Wings Car Rental team at Auckland Airport and help travellers start their New Zealand journey with confidence. This is an exciting, hands-on role combining customer service, vehicle coordination, and administrative duties. This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week working Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. 

About the Role

As a Customer Support Staff member, you’ll be the friendly face customers meet when picking up or dropping off their vehicle. You’ll handle bookings, assist with vehicle inspections, and help ensure the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, manage rental pick-ups and returns, and process bookings.
  • Assess vehicle condition and record any new or existing damage accurately with supporting notes and photos.
  • Complete damage and vehicle checklists and prepare daily operational reports.
  • Ensure vehicles are presented clean and ready for hire.
  • Support fleet logistics, including vehicle transfers and yard coordination.
  • Maintain accurate admin records for vehicle handovers, payments, and reports.

What We’re Looking For

  • New Zealand citizen or permanent resident (work eligibility required).
  • Great attention to detail and confidence with vehicle inspections.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
  • A valid New Zealand Class-1 full and clean driver’s licence
  • Computer literacy and ability to complete documentation accurately.
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable in a team-focused environment.
