The personal Information we collect and hold from you includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal Identifiable Information details such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, birth date, gender, and interests verifying documents such as passport.
  • Billing and Payment details such as credit card number, and billing address
  • Driver's Licence Number photocopy of your Driver’s Licence
  • Your login details on our website such as username, account number, and password
  • Your preferences Information such as product wish lists, booking history and preferences, marketing interests, traveling location preferences, and services preferences you are opting.
  • Information technology details such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system.
  • We may collect/get information from third parties and communications such as parking infringement, traffic infringement, toll road, onboard vehicle software details, third-party payment service provider, and distance traveled by you during the rental.

Providing your Personal Information may be required due to a legal obligation, it may be voluntary or may be required for us to enter a contract with you. If the Personal Information we request is not provided, we may not be able to supply the relevant service to you. We will not be able to provide our vehicle rental services to you if you do not provide the information required to provide that service.

  • We also collect information when you give your details in writing (form filling) as well as on phone calls
  • Through third parties when you authorize us to contact or as otherwise permitted by New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (Privacy Act).
  • Through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram which are linked to our website and accessible using links on the logo of those social media platforms.

How we manage and secure your Personal Information

The security of your personal information is paramount to us. Our all staff and personnel are educated to keep the confidentiality of your Personal Information under the Privacy Act. Our website and rental software uses encrypted transformation for all sensitive details such as account and password, payment processing, etc. However, over the Internet, personal information is not 100 percent secure during electronic transmission and storage.

We are holding your details like name, address, contact, date of birth, and email address for booking purposes, during and after the rental period.

In case you have a sign-up account with us, we will keep your information on our website and car rental software to provide the service you may have requested, and share new letters, promotions, and other marketing materials. When you are deactivating your account, it will get erased all relevant information for your account except rental booking history. The details of rental booking history, we may use in general to improve our services or to use legally under obligations we may have and/or resolve disputes.
